Camelina sativa is a model oilseed crop plant from the Brassica family. Arabidopsis thaliana is also in the Brassica family, but is smaller than Camelina, has a shorter generation time, and a smaller genome.
Create and knit an R Markdown file that answers the following two questions:
What is the distribution of gene lengths in Camelina sativa compared to Arabidopsis thaliana?
Are Arabidopsis thaliana genes generally smaller or larger than Camelina sativa genes?
To answer these question, use BED-format data files containing gene model annotations for protein-coding genes from the two plants.
